Twitter is magic. It is hard to describe, but easy to experience. Sometimes you feel like shit about your art, and then two published comic artist, who started out just like you, write exactly what you need. Just like that. Boom!

chances are the work you get paid for early on will have a much smaller impact on your life than the work you do for yourself, by yourself

or it can mean drawing yourself into the career/life/industry you want to be in
